CCF Rabbitry at Cardinal Clover Farms We are a small family operated Farm that have developed a Rabbitry from our Daughter's 4-H project.

We currently are breeding high quality pedigree'd Californian and New Zealand rabbits with Holland Lops coming in 2022; as well as building cages.

We had the opportunity to attend the 2025 Californian National show this year to try and defend or repeat our Best of breed from 2024. This year our 6-8 buck took home Best Opposite S*x, up to an extremely nice Jr Doe. With the recent crazy weather in Ohio and our busy schedules, we our overwhelmed with success of our rabbits. Thanks to the Cal mafia for hosting and all competitors who made the trip to compete!

We’ve had an awesome time at the 101st ARBA Convention and Show in Louisville, KY last night and today. I got to spend the show helping with the Youth Californian breed show with all the great youth from all over the country. Last night, Gretchen took 5th place Meat pen out of 57 pens and was the highest placed Californian pen and then 3rd place roaster overall as well as the highest Cal roaster. Then tonight, we attended the National Californian Club banquet where Gretchen received her 1st place meat pen sweepstakes and 6th place overall seeepstakes award. She also picked up Cole’s 5th place fur sweepstakes award since he couldn’t attend. We love our Californian family and all our rabbit families!

For our 1st year showing at the Ohio State Fair, we had a pretty solid showing.

Gretchen managed to win the 15-16 year old Rabbit Judging Contest and took the Overall best score for all age groups bringing home the hardware with the chair!

Gretchen’s Californian Junior Doe took 1st place in class and her Single Fryers ended up 5th and 19th out of over 120 fryers.

Gretchen and Julianne both ended up with meat pens in the top 30 earning each of them a payout from the OMRPA.

Overall a great week with some of our favorite rabbit breeders and friends!
