🌿 Parsley: More Than a Garnish!
Parsley is one of those herbs that almost everyone recognizes, but it often gets treated like decoration instead of the incredibly useful herb it really is.
🌿 Herb Spotlight: Parsley
Fresh parsley has a mild, fresh flavor that plays well with almost everything. It’s especially good with garlic, lemon, butter, potatoes, green beans, tomatoes, chicken, fish and pasta — and unlike stronger herbs, it’s easy to use generously without overwhelming a dish.
🍽️ Recipe Spotlight: Quick Parsley Garlic Butter
One of the easiest ways to use fresh parsley is to mix it with softened butter, minced garlic and a little salt. Melt it over green beans, potatoes, corn, chicken or fish — or spread it onto warm bread.
🧺 Bundle Spotlight: You Choose Herb Bundles
Need parsley for a recipe but don’t want a huge grocery-store bunch? Our You Choose Herb Bundles let you pick the fresh herbs you actually need, in practical amounts that are easier to use before they go to waste.
🌱 Garden Wisdom
Did you know...? Parsley stems are full of flavor too. Finely chop the tender upper stems right along with the leaves, or save the tougher stems for soups, stocks and sauces instead of throwing them away.
📩 We won’t be back at the Prosser Farmers Market until closing day in October, but we’re still harvesting! Send us a message anytime and we can have fresh herbs, produce, Harvest Boxes or recipe kits ready for pickup.
