Introducing our Second Grand Rendition 🍾👑

Stepping well past the reaches of our first Grand Rendition, this second cuvee takes a regal stand, leading the Tirriddis collection in quality and authenticity. This wine is composed of the heart of our most defining grapes to showcase the purest expression of our sage brush blanketed, sun kissed terroir of Washington’s Rattlesnake Hills AVA. Polished by three vintages of evolution in bottle, a brilliant golden hue in the glass manifests an ultra-fine bead and impressively textural body. Initial notes of key lime, candied ginger, and crushed oystershell waltz into baked Meyer lemon, pineapple, and crumbly shortbread upon each sip. Finishing with a meticulously balanced, electric acidity- this is a gilded wine that embraces and emphasizes the promise & beauty of Washington state.

Celebrate the inaugural release of our Grand Rendition Rosè 🍾🌸🌷

In ambition to showcase the highest quality & most authentic traditional method sparkling wines from Washington’s Rattlesnake Hills AVA, we discovered a tone of our Grand Rendition that was previously not depicted. The inaugural Grand Rendition Rosé from Tirriddis is a thread braided from intention, care, and precision- only to be knotted by the luxury of time. True to every Rosé’s spirit of playfulness & elegance, this wine naturally dances in the glass with an enchanting rose gold hue. On the nose, perfumed aromas of wildflowers and dried berries part to notes of peach and orange. Layered confections, red apple, and currant are carried through a focused but balanced finish.  This wine cultivates synergy with our Grand Rendition and showcases the diversity & beauty of Washington through the multi-colored lens of traditional method sparkling wines.

Meet Leyla Gonzalez, our Assistant Winemaker at Tirriddis 🥂🍾

Leyla’s love for the wine industry began at an early age. After growing up in the Horse Heaven Hills with family in the industry, she knew that studying wine was the only right choice for her. She began her education in wine at Yakima Valley College where she earned an associates degree in Vineyard Tech, then transferred to Washington State University Tri-Cities to pursue a degree in Viticulture and Enology. Throughout her studies, Leyla gained experience in different sides of the industry, from working in the vineyard, cellar and lab. During her senior year at WSU, she joined the Tirriddis team and has grown to be our Assistant Winemaker.

After a long spring of alternating warm & cold periods, we hit an important milestone with bloom seen in some of the blocks we source from in the Yakima Valley. Observations like strong shoot growth and early bloom are notes we’re taking as they set the foundation and trajectory for the vintage ahead. We are excited for the upcoming, unique promises and challenges of this 2026 vintage!

Washington State is a world-class wine growing region marked by quality, diversity, and vitality, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. The people in the vineyards growing our grapes, the people in the cellars turning those grapes into wine, the people promoting what makes every bottle special, and the people who enjoy each and every glass of Washington Wine. What truly makes Washington Wine special is its community - those who craft it & those who enjoy it. Last week, that is what we celebrated with our friends & family in the industry. Can you tell we’re excited about patio season?! 🍾

It’s the perfect time of year to get your friends & family together to come by our Tasting Pavilion. We’re family friendly and our patio is of course dog friendly! There are few things better & more therapeutic than sipping on our bubbles on a warm, sunny day with a soft breeze - all while being surrounded by grand, sweeping views of Mount Adams & Eastern Washington’s Yakima Valley.

Meet Gabriel Crowell, one of the Co-founders of Tirriddis 🥂🍾

Gabriel is our Director of Winemaking at Tirriddis, so he is essential in making Washington sparkle! Throughout his life, Gabriel has lived in many places ; seeing & appreciating different cultures. At 15 years old, his family moved from his home in Arkansas to live in Cyprus, where Gabriel’s passion for wine began while working in a wineshop there. After working in wine retail for a few years, he got his WSET Level 3 certification, and then decided to pivot and pursue a career in wine production – catalyzing a move to Tri-cities, WA to attend WSU’s Viticulture & Enology program. During his education at WSU, Gabriel formed not only long-lasting connections to the wine industry but also made new friends in the process. After working in the industry and building a passion for sparkling wine, he partnered with Matthew Doutney & Andrew Gerow to show the world Washington sparkling wine. Now in 2026, Tirriddis is at the edge of discovery of not only traditional method sparkling wines but also what it means to be in the Washington Wine Industry.
