Wayland Bakery Not just cakes and snacks-Wayland Bakery has salads, soups and wraps!! The Wayland Bakery has been a Providence landmark for more than 80 years.

Opened in 1928 the bakery moved to its current location in 1960. The Basilico family operated the bakery until it was sold in 1999 to Luis Rodriguez. Today, Luis runs the bakery with his wife, Elizabeth. All baking is done on the premises and is of the highest quality.
