This is the prime example of a review that really drives a restaurant owner to question everything.
I am 100% okay with negative or constructive criticism in reviews. It’s part of the business and the reality is that not everyone is going to like the food we sell. HOWEVER. To give 3 out of 5 stars because:
“ they don’t have a lot of gluten free options” yet then you say “ almost the entire deli case was gluten free options” and we also offer 4 of our sandwiches as gluten free salads. Ok.
Then my favorite is “ the tuna salad tasted fishy I didn’t like it “
The vegan tuna. Tasted fishy. So we get less stars because the food that we veganized tasted like the non vegan version. I’m so sorry.
Also apparently our hours being different than like no udder lost us a star also. Just as a reminder PVDeli and LNU are completely separate businesses under our own schedules, management and ownership. We do our own thing just under the same roof. Also our hours are posted literally everywhere.
I know not everyone will agree with me “complaining” about a review. However as a business owner that strives to make every single guest happy it really bums me out when I see a review with such harsh micro criticisms that can influence the opinion of others just because your tastebuds are different than 99.9% of all other people who have left reviews. Saying something tastes “ meh “ versus “ this item wasn’t for me” is a huge difference and can mean the difference of someone deciding to try out business or not for the first time. Thanks for reading.End Rant. Love, Rich.
