CH*****NE 101: A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE, A LOT TO CELEBRATE.

What makes Ch*****ne, Ch*****ne?

Before we raise a glass for Global Ch*****ne Day, here are a few things worth knowing.

1. Ch*****ne comes from Ch*****ne, France.
Not all sparkling w**e is Ch*****ne.
The name is tied to its region of origin.

2. Meet the three main grapes.
Chardonnay — Freshness, citrus, floral notes
Pinot Noir — Structure, body, red-fruit notes
Pinot Meunier — Roundness, supple texture, fruitiness

3. Blanc de Blancs or Blanc de Noirs?
Blanc de Blancs means “white from white” — made from white grapes, usually Chardonnay.

Blanc de Noirs means “white from black” — made from dark-skinned grapes, usually Pinot Noir and/or Meunier.

4. What does Ch*****ne taste like?
Think citrus, apple, delicate florals, and sometimes the warm, toasty notes of brioche and biscuit.
Every bottle tells a different story.
