Cooking Asia was founded for members to share and discover their passion and knowledge of Asian culture and cuisine through various activities in/out of the school. Our members are JWU students from all academic programs with backgrounds as diverse as the foods we cook. Join us for chef demos, kitchen mystery basket competitions, community service cook-offs, restaurant and event field trips, as well as the occasional food tasting, as we build relationships amongst peers and create life-long career connections.

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold for our soba demo today!! We are very grateful to Chef Akita Ishibashi for joining us for another year of learning and eating good food! We learned about everything from how he grows his buckwheat to how his restaurant (Juu-go) operates, and got to try our hand at making noodles (harder than he makes it look!)
