Due to ongoing drought conditions in North Carolina, we are reluctantly offering up part of our mini-Jersey herd.
B&P Tilly (1). Born on April 30, 2022, Tilly is a beautiful Light Fawn Mini Jersey standing 44" tall. She is A2/A2, Homozygous Polled, and Chondro Negative, Johne’s negative, BLV/BVD negative, making her an excellent addition to any breeding program or homestead herd. Tilly has been a true gem at Little Moo Farm with her gentle disposition and exceptional mothering ability. She has produced two beautiful calves for us: TinkerBell, a heifer, and Tyrian, a bull. She is currently bred back to MHF Cassidy, the same successful pairing that produced TinkerBell. With her proven production record, desirable genetics, and sweet personality, Tilly represents an outstanding opportunity for anyone looking to add a quality Mini Jersey cow to their herd.
MHF Cassidy (2). Born on March 16, 2022, Cass is a handsome Black/Brown and White Mini Jersey bull standing 40" tall. He is A2/A2, Homozygous Polled, and Chondro Negative, Johne’s negative, BLV/BVD negative and is easily recognized by his distinctive white markings on his forehead, feet, and underside. Cass has been an outstanding herd sire for our program and has sired six calves to date, including three heifers and three bulls. One of his most notable traits is that his calves consistently inherit his unique head markings, making his offspring easy to recognize. Hand-raised, Cass has an exceptional disposition and is one of the gentlest bulls you will meet. He enjoys treats, loves scratches and attention, and has always done well around children.
Lola of White Star Farm (3). Born on February 10, 2021, Lola is a beautiful Fawn and White Mini Jersey cow that measured 44" tall at two years of age. She is A2/A2, Heterozygous Polled, Chondro Negative, Johne's Negative, and BLV/BVD Negative, making her an excellent addition to any family arm or homestead. Lola is currently being bred back to Tyrian Noble, offering exciting potential for her next calf. Lola has produced two exceptional calves for us, one bull and one heifer, both of which were nearly identical copies of their dam. She is an outstanding mother and consistently passes along her desirable traits. What truly sets Lola apart is her milk production. Despite her smaller size, she is by far the best milk producer at Little Moo Farm. She milks easily with a machine and can also be hand-milked without issue.
Haven’s Blueberry Moon Pie (4). Born on March 23, 2020, Moon Pie measured 43" tall at three years of age and features a striking Mulberry and White color pattern. She is A2/A2, Heterozygous Polled, Chondro Negative, Johne's Negative, and BLV/BVD Negative. Moon Pie has a wonderfully sweet disposition and loves attention, pets, scratches, and treats. She has produced two beautiful calves for us, one bull and one heifer, and has proven herself to be a caring and dependable mother. She is currently being bred back to Tyrian Noble, offering exciting potential for her next calf.
MHF Mirabel (Little Bit) (5). Born on January 24, 2022, Mirabel is the smallest cow in our herd, standing just 38" tall. She is a beautiful Chocolate-colored Mini Jersey and is A2/A2, Heterozygous Polled, Chondro Negative, Johne's Negative, and BLV/BVD Negative. Despite her petite size, Mirabel has proven herself to be an exceptional cow. She has produced one beautiful heifer for us and has demonstrated excellent mothering instincts, proving to be both caring and dependable. She is currently being bred to Tyrian Noble, offering exciting potential for her next calf. Mirabel has a sweet temperament.
Tyrian Noble (6). Born on September 5, 2024, Tyrian is a handsome multi-colored bull with unique markings in fawn, white, gray, and black that make him stand out wherever he goes. He is sired by Pistol Pete of White Star Farm and out of B&P Tilly, combining excellent genetics with eye-catching color. Tyrian is A2/A2, Homozygous Polled, Chondro Negative, Johne's Negative, and BLV/BVD Negative. He was hand-raised from birth and receives daily interaction, resulting in an exceptionally sweet, curious, and easy-going disposition. He is always eager to be involved and can often be found "helping" with projects around the farm. Tyrian is currently breeding with Moon Pie, Lola, and Mirabel and is already showing great promise as a herd sire. With his outstanding genetics, attractive coloration, gentle temperament, and proven breeding potential, Tyrian would make an excellent addition to any Mini Jersey breeding program, family farm, or homestead.
