Harvesting the hardneck garlic! Primarily I grow this for the beautiful curly scape it creates, so generally it doesn't leave me with many large bulbs, but I planted over 400 last fall which makes lots of garlic!

Curiouser and curiouser! Yes this is not flower content, I'm using my account for my own selfish purposes to enter 😅 so please bear with me🙏 this is from the Halloween of 2016. I loved being Alice because I felt like it really described what had become of my life. That year I had my first child which tumbled me into the crazy new wondrous world of parenting. Those first few months were really really hard, and a lot of things felt impossible.
"Alice laughed: "There's no use trying," she said; "one can't believe impossible things." "I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen.
So I practiced believing in impossible things. Someday he would sleep through the night. Someday he'll be able to walk on his own. Someday he won't need me to entertain him 24/7.
"Sometimes I would even believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

Last year, my tulips were decimated by gophers. This year, I've interplanted daffodils (which are toxic or at least not tasty) with the Tulips, and I'm hoping that will help them leave them alone!🤞🙏

Pink muscari! I'm so excited I was able to get my hands on a few of these bulbs! And I can't wait to have them multiply more and more over these years. Seriously! They may be small but I am in love with the color 😍
