In Memory of CW Baskreys Pride 🖤🐎
2002-2026
Some horses leave hoofprints in the dirt. Others leave them on your heart.
CW Baskreys Pride, nicknamed "Pride" was a beautiful 24-year-old Arabian, and one of those horses you simply could never forget.
An orphan from the very beginning, Pride learned early how to make his presence known—and he made sure everyone knew he was there. He had a personality all his own and absolutely refused to be ignored. If you were one of his people, you might even get a little love bite or pinch to remind you just how much he cared. Those little nips were his way of saying, “Pay attention to me. I love you.”
He was more than a horse. He was a companion, a character, and a presence that could fill a barn. For 24 years, he gave people memories, lessons, laughter, and a whole lot of love in his own very particular way.
Run free now, Pride. No more pain, no more old bones—just endless fields, soft ground, and the freedom to run.
Thank you for every memory, every little pinch, and every reminder that you were there.
You were loved. You were one of a kind. And you will never be forgotten.
Rest peacefully, Pride.
Until we meet again. 🖤🐎
