These Bonus Bouquets went out last week as one more thank you to the subscribers who joined us during last year’s Black Friday special. They received a fifth bouquet added to their four-week subscription. 💐

This season, our subscriber count tripled. I am still in awe of that. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe what I feel.

I put my entire heart into these bouquets. I love choosing the flowers, curating the palettes, and imagining what you’ll love when you unwrap them. Knowing so many of you chose to make our flowers part of your lives means more to me than I can put into words.

To our subscribers, thank you for trusting me with those moments and giving me the opportunity to design for you week after week.

To our regular customers, who stop by the Flower House, order bouquets, and keep coming back, thank you, too. Your support is what allows this little flower farm to keep growing. I never take that for granted.

Black Friday will be here before we know it, and we’ll have another special to share. Today, looking at these last bonus bouquets, I mostly want to say thank you. My heart is very full. What a wonderful season with all of you. ❤️

Imported flowers often vary in cost depending on the season.

For example, if you were to order in peonies while they are in season, you may find them for $8 per stem. If you order in peonies out of season, you’d need to order them in from places such as Alaska or Chile, and you may pay up to $24 per stem. Ouch! This is a classic example of supply and demand.

One of the advantages of having the ability to grow our own flowers is that we don’t need to adjust our price based off of the industry. We don’t believe in charging you a higher price because of seasonal demand and the month we are in. Our price is based on bloom size, stem length and overall quality and doesn’t change throughout our season.

We believe you deserve the best flowers, and we intend to grow them for you. 💚

Good morning, Friends!

The Flower House is filling up with beautiful blooms this morning! With our subscription season wrapped up, we have more flowers available for you to enjoy at The Flower House. 💐

You’ll also find fresh herb bundles for those cozy fall meals and eucalyptus shower bundles for those sneaky fall colds. Like all of our product, they are grown right here on our farm without pesticides. Our rosemary, sage, and eucalyptus are harvested into plain water, so you can enjoy the them in your kitchen or hang eucalyptus to diffuse in your shower, safely. We leave it up to you if you’d like to use them for culinary purposes or to create your flower arrangements.

Our lemon and cinnamon basil are harvested with a post harvest solution and are for ornamental use only. 🌿

I’m my wife’s employee. She fired me, but I still wake up at work. 😂

Now Court’s out of town and somehow I’m running the flower house. Apparently we’re short-staffed enough to rehire me. 🌸

Ainsley made 8 beautiful Weekend Bouquets. These fall colors are beautiful. 💐

Open today & tomorrow, 10 AM–7 PM. Come grab a bouquet and help me win Employee of the Month. There aren’t many of us, but I’m still not the favorite….

We are SOLD OUT…AGAIN. 💚

Today has been bananas in the best possible way. We are so thankful for all of our customers. You definitely kept us on our toes this week!

We are going to close for Flower House sales for the remainder of the day so that we can harvest the next round of stems. They need more time to open to be at the quality that you expect from us, and we’re not willing to sacrifice that quality just to make additional sales today. That wouldn’t be fair to all of you.

Huge shout out to Ainsley! She has worked her tail off this week keeping harvests flowing, beds weeded, and our plants fed. 🌟 Ainsley

Tomorrow we will have some great Weekend Bouquets for you, but no Bouquet Bar bunches.

💍 Wedding Wednesday 💍

I am particularly proud of this one.

I’m am overjoyed because my bride loved how it turned out, but also because nearly 95% of this bouquet was grown right here in Pueblo, Colorado.

The dahlias? Ours. The eucalyptus? Ours. 🌿 (that may or may not be a hint about something coming to The Flower House this weekend…) The Jewels of Opar and the Lisianthus? Also Ours.

The hypericum berries? Definitely not ours. 😂 Fun Fact: I DID have hypericum plants at one point. They arrived, I set them aside and told myself that I would get those planted this week. That pep talk continued every week for the duration of the season until they finally perished. And just like that, they joined the list of wonderful ideas that never came to fruition. So, we’ll give someone else credit for those.

Everything else about this bouquet makes me incredibly proud. There is something almost surreal about standing back and realizing that this wedding bouquet came out of the ground here in Pueblo and once began as a cutting, a seed or a tuber.

The idea that we get the honor of working with our couples, growing incredible flowers right here, and eventually placing those flowers into their hands on one of the biggest days of their lives is something I don’t think I’ll ever take for granted.

More than anything, it makes me ridiculously excited about what we’re going to be able to grow for you in the years ahead. 🤍
