I want to speak honestly about something that has been bothering me, while still being respectful.

With more than 20-30 vendors at an event we all put our time, money, creativity, and hard work into our businesses. That’s why it’s frustrating when I feel like the same things aren’t being treated equally among vendors. If I add something new to my menu and I’m questioned about it, but I see another vendor doing the same thing without the same concern being raised, it naturally makes me wonder why the expectations seem different.

I’m not asking for special treatment or trying to take anything away from another vendor. I simply want to be treated fairly, just like everyone else!

If there are rules or guidelines, I completely understand and will respect them. I just believe they should apply equally to all of us not just certain people.

I value being part of this vendor community, and I want to be able to participate without feeling like I’m being held to a different standard.

I’m sharing this because I care, and I sincerely hope we can have the same fairness, respect, and opportunity for every vendor. I believe in fairness, consistency, and giving everyone the same consideration.

I work hard to create my menu, develop new ideas, and provide something unique for my customers.

I truly respect the organizers and the work that goes into bringing everyone together, and I appreciate the opportunity to be part of it. My only request is that the same guidelines and expectations be applied to all vendors!

An Update for 2027 ❤️
Moving into 2027, I’ll be making some changes to the events I choose to participate in.

I’ve worked incredibly hard to create the menu and business I have today. A lot of time, creativity, money, and effort goes into what I offer, so it can be frustrating to see multiple vendors offering the same or very similar products. Because of that, in 2027 I will not be attending events that have more than two drink vendors selling lemonade or dirty sodas (including myself).

This isn’t about competition or not supporting other small businesses. It’s about respecting the time, money, creativity, and hard work that each vendor puts into their business.

I’m grateful for every event that supports my small business, and I’m simply being more intentional about where I choose to spend my time and invest my business moving forward. ❤️

As someone who's been in the business for over 4 years. Its very upsetting to see multiple vendors in the event selling the same thing after being told that "our lemonade trailer was the only one.

So please take this into consideration before allowing multiple vendors of the same category sell.
