Our first true batch of 2026 is here and thriving!! All colored eggs and look at those markings!! Many of these chicks will be open to new homes and we have another batch hatching Friday. This was the first true test of the new rooster we have with all our speciality breeds and we are glad to see he's a good match! 🥰 Message us for details on chick pick ups or if you'd like to purchase colored eggs to hatch yourself.

We'd like to welcome some new pullets and cockerels to our pens!! The lovely splashed gentleman is blackjack and the grey one hasn't been named yet. Excitedly we've also been able to replicate our main girl named Ducky who is a blue layer with the young pullet you see in the last photo. Ducky is the 3rd photo in this array.

It'll be so exciting to see what further breeding lays for these new chickens!

It's been a minute since we posted but it's only because we've been busy breeding and welcoming new layers to the flock!! We have some new layers coming into season adding some darker richer browns and blues to our mix which is super exciting and we are working on narrowing down our genetic lines! This means we will be posting fully grown hens that don't meet our breeding qualities but are still great gals who'd be a great addition to your flock!

In addition, we are asking for some grace on egg orders locally as our main pen of layers is molting and is focusing on feather regrowth so our egg count is fairly low right now and we don't want to stress our ladies out.

More to come about upcoming birds to check out and pullets we will have available soon as well!

Feeling very lucky to have the opportunity to showcase how healthy our chicks are here at the 2025 Colorado State Fair! Many of them that you saw hatching and exploring the pen during the fair in the ag pavilion came from our breeding pens! Education at its' finest about where do chickens come from and supporting local agriculture. ☺️🐣🐥

This is Ducky, one of this year's babies I kept back for the breeding projects and I couldn't be happier with how she is turning out. Her looks are stunning and I am so excited to see what she will lay. Her mom is Gecko, my super blue so she has a good chance of laying some very pretty color combos! She just barely hit laying age so likely won't see anything for a hot minute but excited to see where she goes! Like and follow the farm page to see what she turns out to lay!

If her eggs are consistent in a worthy color shade her eggs will be available for purchase as fertilized or direct chicks next spring! 🥚🥚

Newest batch of babies going in today! The white ones are my super blue hen (1 white egg gene and 1 blue egg gene) crossed with my Olive egger rooster. Green ones will turn out to be olive Eggers and the dark browns are from my welsummer hen crossed back to my olive egger rooster. Lots of color options once they grow up!
