To our Valued Customers:

We are aware of the recent notice regarding the unintended discharge of approximately 4.25 million gallons of raw sewage into the Arkansas River and the potential impact on irrigation water for registered produce growers in the Arkansas River Valley.
We want to assure our customers that this incident does not affect DiSanti Farms or the crops we are currently growing. Our farm and produce have not been impacted by the sewage discharge, and we will continue to monitor any information provided by local and state agricultural and health officials.
The health and safety of our customers and the quality of the produce we grow are our highest priorities. We will continue to follow all applicable food-safety and agricultural guidelines and will provide an update if circumstances change.

I hate recalls. Of course, they are vital to keep the public from consuming tainted food. The reason I hate recalls is because people don't just heed the warning, they overreact. They don't just stop eating products in the recall, they eliminate the entire category. Some quit eating produce completely. We are currently in a recall of salmonella in jalapenos grown in the Sinaloa, Mexico, area and distributed in the United States by Coast Citrus Distributors. This is the ONLY product being recalled. Colorado chile growers are now harvesting and roasting wonderful, delicious and nutritious chiles. PLEASE don't pass them by. Know that Colorado growers adhere to U.S. Department of Agriculture's standards for food safety in produce. So, please buy from your neighbors, buy local, and ENJOY!
