It’s been a baby blitz the past couple weeks. All the Katahdin’s had their babies and three out of eight baby dolls had their lambs.

Newest additions to the farm are two baby draft horses: Lada (Belgian draft) and Kinga (black draft). They were adopted from BraveHearts Equine Center in Paris, KY and arrived at the beginning of the month. They are 1-2 years old. Rescue names are Elsa and Anna but I’ve picked out their forever names, which have to be of Polish origin of course.

They’re already as big or bigger than my QH and mustang, as can be seen with the pictures. But they’ve got a lot of growing to do before they’re as big as my old Belgian mare Bernadette.

Now that I have made a logo for the farm, we are looking to get t-shirts and hats made. The animal in the middle of the shield is interchangeable so there will be a few different options. Some of the various designs are below, all hand drawn by myself. Still working on a shield that has a cow in the middle, will probably be a picture of our cute, little Mr. Tex.

We have finally started the journey of breeding Bernese Mountain Dogs, that has been years in the making. Mila spent the past week with a BMD stud. Hopefully she has come home bred and will have puppies later this fall.

We’ll preg check her in about 30 days. Pictures of Mila and Daisy (our first BMD) below.
