I spent a couple of days reconditioning an old school seat/desk from the Wilmington Elementary School on Vine St. Photos 1 to 5 are after, and the others are before. I intentionally saved the battle scars and reused as many of the screws and bolts as possible to keep it as original as I could.

Does this bring back some old memories?🤗

Have you ever had a space in your house that just needs … something? That was the situation in a little recessed area in a hallway at the Garrett’s.

Out in the wood shop Dick crafted this table out of white oak. It’s perfect for the space.

If you like barrel aged beers you will enjoy Neshannock Creek Brewing’s “Sugarplum Fairies” @ 12% ABV. It has a silky smooth texture and surprisingly it is not as sweet as you would expect being it was aged wth plums. If you haven’t been to Neshannock Creek Brewery this would be a good opportunity to check it out! 🍺🍺🍺🍺

I finally got around to making a display case for a few of the trucks, cars, and excavators that my father built from various varieties of wood. The detail that he created amazes me to this day.
These are just a few that he built over the years.
