If you were a part of the RLB Ranch, you knew Webb Vaughn. He was the heart, soul and talent of what we built.
Webb passed this week.
Webb loved every Goat, pig, chicken, cat, dog and Alpaca that came to our world. His talent built Big Pig a fabulous Pig O minium, the chickens a coop on wheels so they had fresh grass everyday, and took the best care of every Alpaca. He definitely won the garden growing contest the year we did girl vs. boy gardens . He designed and built kids toy kits that Home Depot wishes they had. He set the garage up and taught the kids who visited to build and paint them. The one that stands out the most for me was a sailboat, Webb had a passion for sailing and growing flowers.
We are greatful for our years with him. We send our love to his daughter Jenny Johnson, husband Don, and grandson David that he was so very proud of.

The sad time has come We must part with our breeding stock in order to be fair to them. We promised ourselves that we would not be those people who tried to hold on too long and the animals suffered for it. I can no longer take good care of Dr. Ed and also take good care of the breeding herd. We will keep a couple of pets for the grandchildren and the four magnificent ladies who are over twenty years of age will live out the rest of their lives here but the bloodlines we have spent thirty years perfecting must be carried on by others. Next year’s crias must be born on other farms. The youngsters must be halter trained by stronger and less fragile folks The show-worthy ones must be led into the ring by younger hands. The time has come.
If you are interested in adding some of our genetics to your herd please contact me privately. We have a little something for everyone. Some high end breeding females. Three very nice animals with one month old crias at side. Three slightly older who can bring you amazing bloodlines at a price you can afford. Three stylish black yearling females you can show now and breed later. Three eye catching yearling males - two of them herdsire quality and the third would add a very soft black fleece to someone’s fiber herd -priced lower than they would have been if they were halter trained. An experienced herdsire who passes on lingering fineness to his offspring to enhance your fiber herd. Here is just one example of what awaits you here:
