🔹 Follow along this journey! We are Mark and Jenna, a husband and wife team who have found a passion for helping horses and owners reach their full potential. Mark’s interest with horses began as a child, but it wasn’t until his time at Oklahoma State University that he dove head first into training. Now, he

thrives on using natural horseman techniques to problem-solve, teach and grow our equine partners. Jenna has been involved in the industry since she was young and is the one who ‘never outgrew the horse-girl phase’. She has competed in a variety of events including AQHA Hunter Under Saddle. She was a member of the Redlands Community College Equestrian Team, OSU Horse Judging Team and was Miss Rodeo Iowa 2018, placing in the Top 5 at Miss Rodeo America. Now, she enjoys barrel racing and is working towards a certification in Equine Massage Therapy and Rehabilitation. I’ve got premium grain-finished Red Angus going to the butcher mid-April and I’m opening up orders now.

These heifers are being finished naturally (no implants or additives), on whole corn, hay, and clean pasture. If you’ve had our beef before, you know how good it is — tender, marbled, and packed with flavor.

Today we’re installing CIDRs (Controlled Internal Drug Release devices) in some heifers.

👉 A CIDR is a small device that releases progesterone, which helps us control and synchronize the heifers’ heat cycles.
👉 By using them, we can have the whole group come into heat at the same time, which makes AI breeding more effective and results in a tighter, more uniform calving season.
👉 This not only improves efficiency, but also helps ensure healthier calves and easier management.

It’s all about combining good cattle care with reproductive technology!
