Dahlia Season is here! 🌸 We’ll open for the season on Wednesday, August 26th, and remain open daily through the first frost—typically sometime in October. Our hours are 9 AM–6 PM every day, including holidays.
Everything you need for picking your favorite dahlias will be ready and waiting for you. No reservations are required, so just come enjoy the flowers! With a beautiful variety of colors, sizes, and shapes, there’s something for everyone—and our blooms become even more plentiful as the cooler fall weather arrives. We hope to see you soon! Due to this spring's unpredictable weather, our remaining peony blooms are just too few to open the fields for picking. As of today, Sunday, May 24th, we are officially closing for the peony season. We always want to ensure you get the highest quality flowers, and Mother Nature had other plans for the rest of the crop!
But looking ahead... our dahlias are planted! 🌱✨
If circumstances permit, we hope to reopen for a late summer dahlia season in August. We will post updates here, on our voice message, and on our website (loudounfieldsofflowers.com) in early August.

"Peony Season Update! 🌸✨
Wow, Mother’s Day was a hit! Thank you to everyone who spent their special day in our fields.
Our peony supply is now running low. We still have buds available, but they are on the smaller side and still growing. We will remain open until the last peony is picked—so come on down if you’d like to hunt for those final spring treasures!
Note: We will be closing after peony season ends to prep for the dahlia season later this summer. Stay tuned for dates! 👩‍🌾

May is Finally Here! 🌸 The most spectacular month of the year is here, and we are ready to celebrate! This is the season to let loose, embrace the sunshine, and make every single moment a total "WOO HOO!" We are absolutely buzzing with excitement to welcome you back to Fields of Flowers.
Mark Your Calendars! 🗓️ Our planned opening date is Friday, May 15th—just in time for our stunning peonies to take center stage. BUT NOTE!!! It could be sooner - we are checking daily the state of the peonies. There is nothing quite like the sight (and scent!) of a field in full bloom.
