Hillsborough is a special collaboration of two brothers: one a Winemaker driven by the dedication to hand-crafted wines made from grapes grown on the property; the other a Brewmaster creating unique beers that refresh the soul and tantalize the taste buds…both served side-by-side out of our scenic tasting room overlooking the rolling foothills of the Shenandoah. Hillsborough Winery, Brewery, and Vineyard is family owned and operated specializing in small batch production, offering a rare combination of exceptional wines and distinctive beers, incomparable ambiance, and unsurpassed hospitality. A typical one starts with a tasting to familiarize yourself with our fine selection. Self guided tasting flights of our vintage wine to wet your palate and help determine a bottle or glass to enjoy. Our craft beer is also offered in a flight, as well as by pint or pitcher, and different size growlers or cans to take your favorite home with you. We feature an à la carte menu of various charcuterie, cheeses, baguettes, soup, and other artisanal delights, and seasonal pre-boxed goodies the weekends and most holidays. Our Ruby Club is designed for those passionate about their cellars with exclusive discounts on wine & beer, access to our events, and priority seating for our popular holiday events and elegant pairing dinners. We’re famous for our views so on most days, our covered stone patio is the perfect perch to drink it all in. Weathered Adirondack chairs dot the property in cozy, romantic pairs and tables in the grassy area offer the perfect spot for a picnic in the countryside. In colder months, settle in by the tasting room's cozy fireplace to enjoy delights that will warm your palate. Need a fun day out with your friends?
