After inspecting the lavender field this morning, it’s Poppy and Gemma’s professional opinion and decision that “Pick Your Own Lavender” starts next Friday, June 12, 10am-4pm. All About Lavender Day will be Saturday, June 13. PYO will co time on Fridays and Saturdays through the end of July. See you here at Blooming Hill!

Saturday, June 6 at Blooming Hill Lavender Farm & Gift Shop Saturday, llam-4pm…our annual “Make a Tussie Mussie” event with members of the Herb Society of America. No reservations necessary. Just stop by the Blooming Hill tent out in the field and they will help create your own meaningful bouquet to take home, using fresh flowers from the garden. All supplies are provided for you and all proceeds go to the care and maintenance of the National Herb Garden located at the National Arboretum in Washington, DC.

It was a beautiful weekend for the Loudoun County Spring Farm Tour here at blooming Hill and although the lavender will not be in bloom until June, there were plenty of beautiful people, including these ladies who visited us and added their own floral touch to the day. Thank you to all of our visitors and see you again here at Blooming Hill where the sun always shines!
