Adroit Theory Brewing Company is located in Purcellville, Virginia. We make esoteric + style challenging beers with an emphasis on Hazy IPAs, Fruited Sours, Pastry Stouts, and Barrel Aging projects.

⁠​​​We often have up to 16 beers on draft plus 10-20 options in bottles, cans, or crowlers but things sell out quickly. Be sure to check our constantly changing Tap List at https://www.adroit-theory.com/taplist

We are currently offering Tasters (5 ounces), Small Pours (10 ounces) and Full Pours (16 ounces). We do not serve "flights" instead serving all of our beers à la carte. We sell and fill growlers of all sizes, and will fill any growler you supply. We allow well behaved dogs in our Tap Room or Patio. Children our welcome assuming they love metal as much as we do. Originally conceived as a special release for our Black Heart Society. The base beer now gets its own release with all the hallmark flavors you love in an Adroit Theory stout. Full bodied with notes of roast, coffee + dark chocolate. Bitterness is balanced against the booziness, all of which is enveloped in a rich, bold body and creamy mouthfeel. Enjoy on a cold evening by the fireplace.

Oh snap!

• Why Is the Watermelon Crawling? [Watermelon + Lime Margarita + Habanero] Smoothie Sour

We’ve made a variety of Margarita inspired sours over the years, but for this one we add the sweet familiarity of Watermelon to the salty lime base. We then added some Habaneros (just as dash) to give it a little zing. The cocktail you never knew you needed.

• Atomic Age - Russian Imperial Stout with Coffee Stout

We originally made this beer for our friends in Imperial Triumphant before meeting up with them at Decibel Fest. Well, we all loved this beer too much to retire it - sometimes simplicity is best. A big, roasty stout with notes of espresso & bakers chocolate; a balance of bitterness + malt sweetness before being conditioned on freshly roasted coffee beans.

Taking a break from our 13x NEW BEERS this week to remind you that we have a small stash of our latest ultra-dry-hopped beers available at the Tap Room:

• Now I Am Death, Destroyer of Worlds [White Label Edition] Hazy Triple IPA

We say this is our "flagship Hazy Triple IPA", but we actually haven't made this since May 2023. We figured we needed to bring it back, and give it a special treatment. We love the classic BLACK label, but we have this WHITE variant that is a nice twist.⁠

We gave this one the same hop saturation that we did for our Anniversary Version of EBK. Absolutely loaded with hop aroma, flavor + intensity. Opaque, pillowy + semi-sweet body; intensely juicy citrus flavor + aromas.
