Grindstone Ridge Farm We sell registered breeding stock for Bluefaced Leicesters, California Red sheep, and Angora Goats.

We also sell raw fleeces, rovings created with a mixture of wool, mohair and alpaca, yarns, and rovings designed for felting. We raise award winning Bluefaced Leicester, California Red, & Romeldale/CVM sheep. Angora Goats and alpacas are also here to enhance your yarns and rovings! We specialize in rovings for needle felting, along with kits and one of a kind needle feltings.

✨Baa-rilliant news about our upcoming Conservation Celebration on April 27th! Historic Germanna has partnered with Dawn Viands of Grindstone Ridge Farm in Purcellville, Virginia. Dawn is bringing her lambs to showcase at the celebration! Dawn will also provide a spinning wheel demonstration as well as a presentation on the fascinating craft of needlefelting. Dawn will have yarns, needlefelting rovings & needles, as well as her adorable felted figures! 🧶
