Introducing Scarlett’s new barn kitties! They are kitten rescues from a feral colony and are now about 6 yrs old. (Curious) George, Bat Man, and Emerald - Emmy for short. We are acclimating them to their new home base in a confined chicken coop and when they are ready we will slowly integrate them to freedom on the farm. We installed a cat coop cam for 24 hour viewing. 😆 Hoping they enjoy catching little critters for us and that we occasionally get a sighting of them around the property. Expectations are low we’ll ever get to pet them, but hopefully they at least stick around for a dinner meal every night. I think they are settling in nicely, I caught George napping in the sun today.

I haven’t had eggs in months! Today, when checking on the girls, I found this surprise…. they decided to lay on a snow day. They must have been snuggled in their coop try to keep warm and decided to be productive. 😆

Our last delivery of 2023, 3 run in shelters. It’s starting to feel like a farm.

Meet our newest flock member, Sir Joseph, and his coat of many colors. He is a beautiful Golden Duckwing Phoenix. He’s only in his teenage months, can’t wait to see him around the farm this Spring in his adult glory.
