This week’s is on a Thursday for a very special reason…it’s !

Please take a moment to celebrate the hardworking farmers who keep our county and country fed and fueled. Loudoun's farmers are a vital part of our business landscape, and their contributions to our local economy cannot be overstated. But more than that, they are the backbone of our food supply chain, providing the sustenance we all need to survive.

Despite the challenges they face, farmers and farm workers remain dedicated to their craft, working long hours to ensure that crops are planted, nurtured, and harvested with care, and farm animals and livestock are healthy, happy, and treated with respect. They are true stewards of the land, working to protect our natural resources and preserve our agricultural heritage for generations to come.

So on this special day, let us take a moment to thank our farmers for all that they do. Whether it's by supporting local agriculture, volunteering at a local farm, or simply taking the time to appreciate the hard work that goes into putting food on our tables, we can all do our part to show our gratitude for the men and women who keep us fed and nourished.

Our consignment to the 2021 National Holstein Convention Sale is a diamond in the rough! A 63 inch tall Sidekick Jr. 2 year old due in mid July to Hancock. She is a potential 9th generation Excellent from a cow family we have bred six 94 point cows from! Look for lot 50, Pottsdale Sidekick Ridelle, in Lancaster on June 24.
