Dogwood Farm was recently honored by MD-VA Milk Producers Co-op for shipping milk to them for 100 years! Mike's great-grandfather Walter Brown joined the co-op in 1920 and his son-in-law, Jennings Potts took over from him. Guernseys were milked in the early days. Co-op CEO, Jay Bryant recently presented us with a beautiful milkcan with a farm scene painted by the talented Debbie Cornman. The scene is from a photo done a few years ago by local photographer, Sarah Huntington. Thanks to all involved for this recognition!
Happy 4th of July!
I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free. And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me. And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today. ‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.
