FRESH TURKEY AVAILABLE TODAY! Each year we keep a few turkeys in reserve to make sure we have enough for the reservations we receive, so we have a couple fresh turkeys available today for anyone still in need of a local turkey for their family's table. No need to defrost, because they are chilled fresh and ready to go into the oven. They are 25 and 26 lbs including giblets, so you can enjoy some leftover turkey sandwiches! Call today to pick up at the farm, first come first serve.

Thank you Loudoun Now for the mention about our beloved Thanksgiving Turkeys, it has been a pleasure to meet many new people. We are sold out of turkeys for this year, October is usually a good time to make a reservation for us. However we would like to refer people to our friends at Great Country Farms in Bluemont, VA who raise turkeys in a similar fashion and still have turkeys available.

We were very excited to bring home three titles from the ADGA show on Saturday. Dawson Gap WFE Apache Rose (owned by Jonathan) was Grand Champion in ring 1 and Sunny Daze ZD Caramel Apple (owned by Eva) was Reserve Champion in ring 1 and Grand Champion in ring 2!

Exciting news from Dawson Gap! Thanks in part to a grant from the Loudoun County Farm Bureau, Inc., Dawson Gap will soon be putting into service a Mobile Poultry Processing Unit available to rent for the farming community! Dawson Gap is here to support the farming community from homesteaders, to regional market producers, and we are pleased to be able to help fill the need for community available equipment for on farm poultry processing! We have just finalized plans with a vendor to produce our trailer mounted poultry processing unit, and we hope to have it available to the farming community beginning in October!
