Just stocked the stand up with what remains. We have a full complement of brassicas, lots of tomatoes, sweet peppers, hot peppers, and eggplant. We are out of Basil, cilantro and zinnias. We still have a few Cosmos and some phlox. Next weekend will be the last weekend for the stand

Just wanted to let customers know we have a pretty much full complement of plants today. Notably we are out of cucumbers and zucchini and while we have some flowers we don't have a lot. Almost everything else is in abundance on this chili damp Memorial Day weekend

The stand is pretty full this weekend with the exception of a few shortages. We are featuring all our tomato varieties, sweet peppers, hot peppers and eggplants. We still have lots of brassicas onions leeks and greens. We are a little short on flowers due to some crop failures. We are short on a few things we will have more of next week such as green kale, cilantro and arugula

This week the stand features a full complement of brassicas: broccoli,cauliflower, brussels, cabbage, kale, collards. Also, the usual allium suspects: onion mix, storage onions, leeks, shallots, and scallions. Herbs are featuring: basil, cilantro, and two types of parsley. For greens we have a lettuce mix with six different varieties of lettuce, a mustard mix and some spring spinach, we are out of chard and Perpetual spinach until next week. We also have cukes, zucchini, summer squash and some winter squash. For new items we will have a smattering of flowers and tomatoes this week. The main event will start next weekend when we bring all other kinds of tender crops such as eggplant peppers and all the varieties of tomatoes

Here is the posting for what is available today Saturday May 8th. We will have all of the items that we had last week though we only have a couple bright lights and Perpetual spinach left. We have one addition to the brassicas which is brussel sprouts. I will also add cucumbers summer squash and some winter squash starts as well as some basil. Family Matters are not going to allow me to be at the stand today so I apologize but I will be there next Saturday with additional options i.e. tomatoes at the least. The self-serve seems to be working well I remind everyone it's open 7 days a week please come when it is convenient for you.

Walnut Ridge Farm will open for bedding plant sales from our farm stand at 315 Earth Bridge Rd. In Westminster West on Saturday, May 1st. I am not doing pre-order sales this year, the stand will be open 7 days a week self-service, I will be present every Saturday from 10am til 2pm to assist and answer questions. Masks are requested, even though I and many of you are vaccinated. My hope is that this will be an easier, more convenient way to get plants to customers. On Friday evenings I will post what will be available during the following week on this page. Plants are doing great! Looking forward to the growing season.

We have decided to sell only from our farm stand going forward even in a post Covid-19 world. To help better serve our customers, we would appreciate feedback and suggestions.
