This breed is unbelievable. They have been licking dirt eating weeds and hay for three weeks and still have not lost much weight. The south poll is a drought tolerant and very patient animal.

I seen someone post about Dung beetles the other day. When I bought this place in 2019 it was nothing but broom sage . I’ve rotated cattle on it for a year now and the grass is still not the best but the under ground wild life is really good.
