π Faith & Farm Sunday
"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes."
β Ephesians 6:11
Nobody tells you that the moment you start moving toward something good β something right β is the exact moment the resistance shows up.
The fence breaks. The weather turns. Something gets sick. The money gets tight. The doubt creeps in. You start to wonder if it's even worth it.
It's not a coincidence. Ephesians 6 is clear β we're not just wrestling with hard luck. There's a real enemy who does not want you walking in purpose. He doesn't fight fair, and he doesn't rest.
But here's what I keep coming back to:
God doesn't promise the path will be easy. He promises He goes with you on it. He promises His strength is made perfect in your weakness. He promises that no weapon formed against you will prosper.
The armor Paul talks about in Ephesians 6 β truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, the Word β that's not just poetry. That's a battle plan. You put it on every single morning before your feet hit the floor. Before the work starts. Before the hard thing comes.
Farming teaches you this whether you want to learn it or not. You don't control the rain. You don't control the market. You don't control what breaks or what gets sick. But you can control whether you show up faithful. Whether you trust the One who holds it all.
Stay in the Word. Stay on your knees. Keep moving forward.
The enemy fights hardest what threatens him most. If things are hard right now, maybe that's your sign you're closer than you think.
Stand firm. God is not done with your story.
