✝️ Whatever you are facing this morning β€” He is able.
Maybe you are in a season that does not make sense. Maybe the doors keep closing. Maybe you have prayed the same prayer so many times you have lost count.
Do not give up.
You are not serving a God who does just enough. You are not serving a God who meets you halfway. You are serving a God who does exceeding abundantly above ALL that you could ever ask or think.
Not some of it. Not most of it. ALL of it.
His plan for your life is bigger than your biggest dream and stronger than your deepest fear. Trust Him this morning. Rest in Him today. He has not forgotten you. He has not abandoned you. He is working β€” even now β€” even when you cannot see it.
That is the God we serve. And He is worthy of every bit of praise. βœοΈπŸ™

🏭 This is where most of the chicken you buy at the grocery store comes from.
Tens of thousands of birds. Wall to wall. No sunlight. No fresh air. No grass. No room to move. Artificial light 24 hours a day to manipulate their bodies into growing as fast as possible.
These birds never see the sun. Never feel grass under their feet. Never breathe fresh air. They live their entire lives in a building like this from the day they hatch to the day they are loaded onto a truck.
This is not a judgment on the people who work in these facilities. They are doing a job. But this IS the reality of what is inside most packages of chicken at your local grocery store.
Now here is what is different at Brindle Acres Farm.
Our broilers are moved to fresh pasture twice a day β€” every single morning before I leave for work and every evening when I get home. They eat bugs. They eat grass. They breathe fresh air and feel sunlight on their backs every single day of their lives.
The difference ends up on your plate. In the flavor. In the quality. In the peace of mind of knowing exactly how your food was raised and by whom.
You deserve better than what is in that building. Your family deserves better. And honestly β€” so do the animals. πŸ™βœοΈ
Our next batch arrives end of July and will be ready for pickup October 3rd. Pre-orders are open now β€” spots are going fast!

🐣 Happy Mother's Day from Brindle Acres Farm!
Even out here on the pasture, mama knows best. She protects. She provides. She keeps her little ones close no matter what.
Kind of sounds like every great mom we know. πŸ™
To every mother reading this β€” from our family to yours β€” Happy Mother's Day. You are seen, you are loved and you are irreplaceable.

And a special Happy Mother's Day to Wendy β€” the heart and hands behind Brindle Acres Farm. None of this happens without her. ✝️❀️

✝️ Sunday morning on the farm.
Before the feed is poured. Before the eggs are gathered. Before anything else happens on this land β€” we give thanks to the One who made it all possible.
Jesus Christ!

Not because everything is perfect. Not because the bills are always paid or the flock always healthy or the days always easy. But because He is faithful whether we are on the mountaintop or walking through the valley.
Psalm 23 is not just a scripture we put on our labels. It is the heartbeat of everything we do here at Brindle Acres Farm. He leads us. He provides for us. He restores us when we are worn out and weary. He walks with us every single day β€” through the hard mornings before sunrise and the quiet evenings when the hens come home.
That is the God we serve. That is why we farm the way we farm. That is why we care for these animals the way we do. Because this land belongs to Him and we are simply grateful stewards of what He placed in our hands.
All glory to God. βœοΈπŸ™

πŸš› This is where most of the chicken you buy at the grocery store comes from.
Someone captured this photo on the highway recently and when I saw it I couldn't look away. Thousands of birds stacked in cages, stressed, crowded, being transported miles to a large industrial processing facility.
This is not a judgment on the people who work in that industry. They are doing a job. But this IS the reality of how most commercial chicken is raised and processed in America today.
Here's what's different at Brindle Acres Farm:
🌿 Our birds are raised on open pasture β€” moved to fresh grass twice a day
πŸ” They live their entire lives outside in the fresh air and sunlight
🚫 No antibiotics. No hormones. No overcrowding. Ever.
✝️ They are processed humanely right here on our farm by our family
From the day they arrive as chicks to the day they reach your table β€” our birds never see the inside of a truck like that one. They never experience that kind of stress. And we believe that matters β€” for the animal and for the quality of the food you put on your family's table.
Research has shown that stress hormones in animals at the time of processing directly affect the flavor and quality of the meat. Calm birds raised right simply taste better. That's not marketing β€” that's biology.
You deserve to know where your food comes from. You deserve better than what's in that truck.
Our next batch is arriving end of July and will be ready for pickup October 3rd. Pre-orders are open now β€” spots are limited.

πŸ™ We just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU.
When we started Brindle Acres Farm we were just a working family with a small flock of chickens and a calling we couldn't ignore. We had no idea if anyone would even care.
You cared.
You liked our posts. You shared our story. You texted us about eggs and chickens. You showed up for us in ways we didn't expect and it means more than you know.
To everyone who has followed, commented, shared, ordered or simply encouraged us along the way β€” thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This community is why we do what we do.
We are just getting started. And we are so grateful you're here for the journey. πŸ“βœοΈ

πŸ™ Faith & Farm Sunday
"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes."
β€” Ephesians 6:11
Nobody tells you that the moment you start moving toward something good β€” something right β€” is the exact moment the resistance shows up.
The fence breaks. The weather turns. Something gets sick. The money gets tight. The doubt creeps in. You start to wonder if it's even worth it.
It's not a coincidence. Ephesians 6 is clear β€” we're not just wrestling with hard luck. There's a real enemy who does not want you walking in purpose. He doesn't fight fair, and he doesn't rest.
But here's what I keep coming back to:
God doesn't promise the path will be easy. He promises He goes with you on it. He promises His strength is made perfect in your weakness. He promises that no weapon formed against you will prosper.
The armor Paul talks about in Ephesians 6 β€” truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, the Word β€” that's not just poetry. That's a battle plan. You put it on every single morning before your feet hit the floor. Before the work starts. Before the hard thing comes.
Farming teaches you this whether you want to learn it or not. You don't control the rain. You don't control the market. You don't control what breaks or what gets sick. But you can control whether you show up faithful. Whether you trust the One who holds it all.
Stay in the Word. Stay on your knees. Keep moving forward.
The enemy fights hardest what threatens him most. If things are hard right now, maybe that's your sign you're closer than you think.
Stand firm. God is not done with your story.

🌿 Why we do this.
We're not big farmers. We're a working family on 2 acres in Pylesville, Maryland trying to do something meaningful with the land God gave us.
I work full time as a steamfitter. Wendy runs a before and after school program for the kids at the local elementary school. We raise a small flock of chickens and we do it the right way β€” on pasture, no antibiotics, no shortcuts.
Someday maybe we'll have cows. Maybe sheep. Maybe pigs. We'd love that. But right now this is what we have and we are going to be faithful with it.
Because that's what this is really about. Not the size of the operation. Not how many acres you have. But whether you show up every single day and do things right with what God has given you.
A small flock. A big calling.
We believe that how food is raised matters. We believe animals deserve to be treated humanely. We believe families deserve to know and trust the people who raised their food.
That's not just a farming philosophy. That's a faith conviction.
Brindle Acres Farm isn't just a business. It's a start. And we're grateful every single day for every customer who believes in what we're building. πŸ™βœοΈ
