Every morning we walk out to these fields and that verse hits different.
The birds. The pasture. The rain that came at just the right time. The customers who found us. The 500 of you following along.

None of it is ours. We're just the stewards.

🐔 "Free Range" Doesn't Mean What You Think...
Most people buying "free range" or "cage free" eggs and chicken at the grocery store believe their food came from happy birds roaming open fields. The truth might surprise you.
Here's what those labels actually mean legally:
🏷️ CAGE FREE — Birds are not in cages. That's it. They can still be packed by the thousands inside a warehouse with no access to outdoors.
🏷️ FREE RANGE — Producers must provide "access" to the outdoors. That access can legally be a tiny door leading to a small concrete pad. Most birds never even find it.
🏷️ PASTURE RAISED — No legal federal definition exists. This is why who raises your food matters more than the label on the package.
At Brindle Acres Farm our birds live on fresh grass, moved daily on pasture. No labels needed — you can come see for yourself.

🌿 Sunday Morning Reflection 🐓

"Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?" — Matthew 6:26 (KJV)

God provides. But have you ever noticed HOW He provides?

Rarely does provision fall from the sky. More often, God answers someone's prayer by stirring the heart of another person to act. That's how the Body of Christ works. We are His hands and His feet on this earth.

When someone is on their knees asking God to meet a need — for food, for help, for community — Jesus is often already moving in the heart of someone nearby to be the answer to that prayer. The question is whether we're paying attention.

Are we so focused on our own needs that we miss the person right next to us who is quietly struggling? The neighbor who needs a meal. The family who can't afford good food for their children. The friend who just needs someone to show up.

We were not saved to sit. We were saved to serve.

This week — ask God not just to meet your needs, but to show you whose need HE wants to meet through YOU.
