More babies have arrived! Bit of a hectic day.
Rubicon MT Bella Baxter kidded today with triplets- 2D and 1B 💗💗💙. Kids are sired by Winning Streak P Lion king. Not the smoothest kidding- kids were tangled up and all coming at the same time. First kid was presenting backwards, with one leg caught behind mom’s pelvis. We had one head to the right and one to the left, coming from underneath, keeping that stuck leg jammed and impossible to hook to reposition.
The more I worked at it, the more the head to the right slipped into the canal. At a certain point I made the choice to just stop fighting it and let it come- maybe my mental image of what i was feeling was wrong, and it was the same kid? Fun Fact: it was not the same kid. Not only was it not the same kid, but it was the teeny tiniest kid I’ve ever seen.
There was enough room with the runt out for me to get the stuck leg free— then out came the next one with one leg delivered toes first and the other one hock first. Last kid came very quickly afterwards.
Mom is doing surprisingly well and acting like it never happened.
