Baby carrots vs. "Baby" carrots

Do you know that most store-bought "baby" carrots are not actually baby? And that they are actually highly processed? Yep! Those slimy, oblong, uniformly-shaped carrots in a bag are actually cut from full-sized, long, Imperator-type carrots. Then they get a nice chlorine bath (bleach wash), which prevents bacteria from living on those poor naked carrots. Appetizing, eh?

Well lucky for you, I'm offering organically grown, frost-sweetened, unpeeled, REAL baby carrots! These babes just came out of the field yesterday and have only been rinsed with water to remove dirt. Never sprayed, never bleached, only grown with love and care-ots 🥕

Eating greens isn't dreadful when the flavors are this good! And we have so much more than just greens. Like, did you know I grow ginger and turmeric?!

Early worm gets the...potato?!

OK, I can promise you won't get potatoes with worms in them from me, but we do have potatoes! (And lots of other beautiful, delicious, nutritious, organically grown veggies in store!) And if you are a meat and potatoes kind of eater, our pork tastes MUCH better than that worm, guaranteed.

It's fire c***r season!

Did you notice I didn't say cold/flu season? That's because fire c***r will bring fire c***r to your life, and will help keep the colds and flus out of your life!

Come meet Liz, the maker, creator, and owner of Burnt Sky Apothecary, and taste some fire c***r this afternoon in the farm store, 4:30-6:30 PM. They're the sweetest peppers in town!

Just harvested this morning, these little snacking peppers are soooo sweet and delicious. Plus, they don't really have seeds in them, so they require ZERO work! The harvest has been so good, I'll be offering them at a discounted price today, $4/lb. Don't miss out on these babies!

Have you ever juiced a watermelon??

Now offering the sweetest seeded 🍉 for juicing (or frozen treats)! These babies aren't great for eating, but their flavor is so incredible, you don't want to miss out on this special treat. We may have a very limited number of seedless watermelons available in the coming weeks, but for now they are being reserved for our CSA members 😊
