Woke up Thursday morning to the surprise of 18 new baby chicks from one of our best brooding hens. I had thought she had got snatched by the local barn owl. Biggest hatch at one time. Of course, Mother Goose is also besides herself with joy at all the new arrivals. She takes her job of protecting mama and the babies seriously. 🐣🐥🐓🪿. Baby chicks for sale! PM if interested.
