Still sad about the passing of icon Dolly Parton. We took some employees last year to the opening day of Dollywood, and this was a few days after her husband passed away. But her first appearance after that was to welcome all the guests visiting her park. Some of you may not know this , but Dollywood has been voted Best Theme Park in the country,2 years in a row!

Mark and I had the pleasure of meeting her backstage when she came to the farm for Country thunder. Some of you who were there weren’t able to watch her because there was a huge storm. So she stayed in her bus and apologized for not being able to perform. We paid her and off she went.

She was one of a kind. She is now back home free of pain with her husband and so many family and friends. What a welcoming party. I am sure they missed her love and her voice . Rest in Peace Dolly! ❤️😢
