Fratelli Omede are two Brothers, Gabriele -agronomist/Emilio -enologist. They are bottling delicious Grignolino from old plots in different historic styles, all vinified in the small cellar of their house. The goal is to enhance and showcase the different terroirs of their Grignolino. The cellar is right next to a local sign that says:
“territori del grignolino” ..the passing time has come around to restore importance to this noble variety.

Cascina Roccalini is Paolo Veglio’s dream in the village/cru of Roccalini, in the municipality of Barbaresco. He decided to invest in his family’s vineyards and vinify the grapes that until then had been brought to Neive, to the winery of Bruno Giacosa.

White marl-limestone, planted exclusively with Nebbiolo, meticulous vineyard management. no use of herbicides or chemicals.
slow fermentations are preferred, without the use of additives, indigenous yeasts, traditional submerged cap method. the wines are bottled without filtration or fining.
5 hectares. approximately 20k bottles per year, divided between Barbaresco DOCG and Langhe Nebbiolo, both complex, elegant and precise. Rooted in tradition and faithfully reflecting the history and terroir of Barbaresco.
