With the end of flower season here, I’m now in the “how are we going to make this work better next year?” phase 🌱

We’re working toward a completely new field layout, permanent drip, permanent w**d barrier, and a whole bunch of new varieties. A lot of measuring, sketching, second-guessing, and planning have been in the works.

Fall doesn’t mean the work ends. It’s just work with a little less color ✨

I get it — it doesn’t look like much right now. But here’s a little behind the scenes for you: these bouquets don’t happen overnight.

The seeds were bought last year. Hours were spent starting seedlings. The field was cleaned and prepped before new plants ever went into the ground. Countless volunteer hours from family have gone into making all of this possible.

I’ve reached the temporary calm… until tomorrow when the w**ds show back up. They’re thriving with absolutely zero encouragement 🙄

Anyways, I can’t wait for my flower season and my annual battle with w**ds. Stay tuned for the part where everything explodes with blooms. 🌱✨
