Double Time x Speak Up x Lampoon

The mother of TOT raised the fourth overall spot barrow and Reserve Champion spot gilt at the Ohio State Fair just this past year. We wanted a boar that was cleaned up from the legendary Loud Mouth so we went into the tank and used some of our Double Time. Needless to say we are happy with the results. TOT has the look from the side and the unique front 1/3 that gets you noticed in the show ring. If you’re raising southwest type barrows we feel this guy has the potential to make poland appearing barrows as well as spots just like his daddy could. Another added bonus is that Speak Ups mom is in this pedigree twice.

We feel the definition of FULL THROATED is a good start to how we feel about this guy. FULL THROATED brings presence, bone and power together into one incredible package. He’s ultra attractive from the side while possessing such mass. The common comment that he receives from the few people that have seen him is “ that one could change spots in the show ring fast”.

His mother is a littermate to Alarm and Stopwatch at Upperhand and had great success in the ring shown by Adi Fritz. The great grandma Lampoon sow is the mother of Full Pull at crossroads. We feel that FULL THROATED has a good shot to do great things just based on his phenotype but when you add in his genetic capabilities things get even more interesting.

We have been anxiously awaiting this introduction! PFSG has an exciting trio of boars pictured and ready to release to the public. In addition, we will be reintroducing a mature boar that has done very well for us here at PFSG. Over the next several days we will be releasing pictures and pedigrees of each. Unfortunately, we do not have videos yet as the boars are not broke, but we will eventually make it happen. At PFSG we like them to be pigs and let them grow and mature in their natural pattern. Without further ado, the first of the trio is a boar my wife has dubbed ESCOBAR.

ESCOBAR'S skeleton is great from all angles. He has an incredible look from the side. He has the foot and bone desired and all four limbs sit and point in the right direction. He comes and goes with tremendous power. Possesses width, top, center body and the range of motion to go along with it. His versatility and completeness allows breeding to every type and kind of female while moving the breed forward.

NONE GIVEN was also raised here and was a Pueblo x Lampoon 46-4. The two 46 litter sows in his pedigree have been pivotal to success here at PFSG. The 46-3 sow is the grandma of ALARM and STOP WATCH and the mother of FULL PULL at Crossroads Genetics Inc. She's a '19 model and still getting the job done. There's a lot of predictability in this genetic package. You can breed with confidence.

Stop Watch has been off to a solid start this fall/winter in his first crop. He just sired the champion and reserve spot gilts at Breeders Cup Jackpot. The future looks bright for the young sire.

We are excited to be introducing our newest sire FULL THROATED in the coming weeks. He’s sired by SPEAK UP and out of Shania (ALARM and STOP WATCH’S littermate sister). She herself had a very successful show career shown by Addi Fritz. FULL THROATED has the color, look, and bone that captures your attention instantly. He resembles his uncle STOP WATCH in look immensely but packs more mass at the same age. Can’t wait to finally get him a few bathes and a haircut so we can unveil this specimen to the public.
