I've been waiting for the ground to dry out enough to knock down some of the spring weeds in the garden. Yesterday afternoon was perfect day for it! And I was able to do the first quick till just in time before winter decided to fight back against spring again!

See those little garlic rows?! The warm weather we’ve had the last few weeks have them popping!!

Story time from last year. I’ve been growing Garlic for over 10 years now and fall of 2024 was the first year that I put the straw too thick on top after I planted them. I would say half or maybe even a little more than half of 2025 harvest did not come up. So discouraging! I’m glad this year is so much better and it shows that you’re constantly learning and refining your skills!

I used up the last of our 2025 white potato harvest in cheeseburger soup this week🥔🥣. I will probably plant this years crop sometime this month or early April. With this warm weather I’m really ready to get into the garden!!

Just pulled these beauties out of the oven as part of my last bake day for 2025!! I plan to offer sourdough bread once a month during the first quarter of 2026. If you are interested in some fresh homemade bread send me a message and I will give you the info on how to order!

It’s a beautiful winter wonderland out there!❄️☃️ But, unfortunately that means we don’t have anything for the Hendricks County Winter Farmers Market today😕.

2025 has been a great year and we appreciate the support you’ve shown us in our first year!! We look forward to seeing you again when the weather warms up in 2026!!🥬🥕

Most of the produce was picked end of last week/early this week to avoid the cold snap we had, but spinach is a rock star in cold weather and I harvested this beautiful bucket this morning! A plus is that it gets sweeter in the cold frosty weather!
