🐖 Introducing Something Rare at Dunn’s Farm to Fork
For years, we’ve proudly raised commercial hogs that provide the lean, dependable pork many of you fill your freezers with each year.
But today… we’re introducing something different.
We’ve added purebred Meishan pig genetics to our farm.
This isn’t a trend.
It’s a heritage decision.
Meishans are an old-world breed known for:
• Incredible mothering ability
• Large litters
• Slower growth
• Naturally high intramuscular fat (that means flavor)
They produce pork with deep marbling — the kind chefs and charcuterie makers look for.
This is not commercial pork.
This is heritage pork.
Over the coming months, we’ll be building a purebred Meishan program right here in Quincy, offering:
• Limited breeding stock
• Select heritage feeder pigs
• Premium heritage pork in small batches
We believe in raising pigs intentionally — whether it’s the commercial hogs you already trust or these rare heritage Meishans we’re excited to grow.
