Chickens & turkeys aren’t the only fowl on this farm. We inherited peacocks along with the property & they are officially molting🦚

Molting is a natural process where fowl (chickens included) shed their feathers, typically after mating season. While mating season is long, loud & quite annoying, I do find their feathers absolutely beautiful & love to find them around the farm.

Peacocks symbolize new beginnings and the integrity & beauty that we can achieve when we show our true colors💙💚🤎🤍

Our 5 acre field of sunnies is growing quickly & we can’t wait to show you what we have planned for them. We guarantee that it’s something the whole family will love♥️

Chicken fried steak but make it pork🧐

After eating chipped steak for three times in the last week & spending more time on the run than at home, I was craving some serious comfort food🏡

Our pork cutlets made the perfect pan fried meal, let me just tell ya. Cooked for only 90 seconds on each side, it was easy to prep & quick to cook⚡️

Is there anything sweeter than baby farm animals? The answer is yes, human babies loving on baby farm animals🐽

These little oinkers are at the home farm learning their new space. Currently, they are locked in their catch pen & shelter while they get comfortable but in another week or so we will turn them out to “pasture.” & by pasture, I mean woodlands🌳

We’ve found a way to utilize what was once under utilized ground at the farm by giving the pigs space to root & forage in a natural environment.

Along with land utilization, we are also able to produce pork with healthier fat ratios, higher levels of protein & meat packed with vitamin E.

Now let’s make that bacon🥓
