August 12th the Racine Farmers Market On The Lake R is having a contest to see which vendor can come up with the best pizza recipe using ingredients from the Market. I'd love your feedback in deciding Beef, Chicken or Pork? Ann Muller and Annie's Country Pantry are proud to represent us and have a show of gratitude and show you how to utilize the foods I make in different more creative ways.
If anyone has made Pizza with Annie's Pineapple Habanero Sauce, I would love some feedback on what you found work or did not or vote and tell me what you would love to see on a Pineapple Habanero Pizza!

Cornfest is at The Racine Farmer Market on the Lake this week Saturday (tomorrow).
Come get y our free ear of corn, while supplies laslt!
Annie will have Corn Relish and Black bean and Corn Salsa to sample. At Memorial Park on the Lake in Racine Wisconsin.

Guess what happened in RACINE, WISCONSIN THIS WEEK???? It has been a real pleasure to be a part of the newest market in town.....The Racine Farmers Market On The Lake , had several vendors who finally had corn!! I want to tell you, I bought some corn from the Farmer next to me....I am trying to find out who it was who has the farm who was vending next to Ann Muller and Ronald Muller, owners of Annie's Country Pantry the second spot from the NORTH end of the Festival Park grounds. As a kid who grew up having lots of farmers in our family, I understand what itn takes for good corn.....The rain, followed by the extreme heat last week was the perfect remedy for no corn....in fact we had so much rain I think some farmers are contending with rotten corn. But this man and woman who were vending in the last spot to the NORTH end of the Festival Park had some of the best corn my 62 year old body has ever had!! Kudos to you farmers, and Thank you God for a wonderful harvest!!! Would the farmers who were in the farthest North spot at the Park, please name yourselves.....now is a great time, you did well!!!

WHO ASKED THE QUESTION ABOUT CREDITS AT A COMMUNITY COLLEGE LAST WEEK? I live in RACINE WISCONSIN, but have no idea if this was someone from this community. IF IT WAS< HERE IS SOME MORE INFORMATION YOU MAY BE INTERESTED IN. LAST WEEK i DID NOT MENTION THAT THIS PROGRAM EXISTS AS I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THE PROGRAM WAS STILL IN PROGRESS. I believe Wisconsin falls under this category and our resients are eligible to the program which allows students to "TEST OUT OF COURRSES." That program is called "ModerenStates.org" Check it out to see if you qualifyn to "test out of certain classes. If you tested out of all you are elligible for, it could be more than one whole semester, which could total about $30K in tuition!! Again: "Modernstates.org"
