The Employees of Marlo Incorporated would like to inform our Customers, Suppliers, and Water Treatment Industry colleagues of the passing of our Co-Founder, Michael Glines. We are all deeply saddened but will always be inspired by the legacy he leaves and the strong foundation he built for our company starting in 1973 alongside his father, Fred Glines. Through his leadership, Mike took a common sense approach to business and grew the company in a steady but responsible manner (“Crawl-Walk-Run” was one of his favorite lines) allowing us to expand our physical footprint and product offerings from Residential to Custom Engineered equipment and systems all the while keeping the company ownership within the family. Mike took a strong interest in both the professional and personal lives of all our employees always keeping his door open and welcomed feedback on how to improve the company. He liked to call this “Participatory Management”. His wife of 55 years, Kathy and son Brian will continue these efforts into our future.
Mike loved the water treatment equipment business and would thank all of you for your support to help Marlo grow over the past 53 years. He would say it takes great Customers and Suppliers but even formidable Competitors to keep our industry strong.
Mike lived a full and eventful life. He was very proud of his military career in the U.S. Army bravely serving as a combat medic in the Vietnam War. Spending time with his family was his priority but was also passionate about Woodworking, Golf, Corvettes, and of course, the Green Bay Packers! Mike was “One-of-a-Kind” and will be dearly missed.
Marlo will be closed on Monday, March 9, 2026 to honor and celebrate Mike. There will be no shipping or receiving on this day. Thank you for your understanding.
