We have Dorper lambs headed to the butcher next week, message us to claim yours!

Dorpers are known for producing high-quality, tender, flavorful meat. These lambs have been raised right here on our farm with plenty of room to graze and grow naturally. ❤️

If you’ve been wanting to put some locally raised lamb in your freezer, now is the time!

📩 Message us if you’re interested in reserving it. Once it’s gone to the butcher, it’s too late!

Our son graduated from high school this year and raised a hog for the show and sale. Every year at our livestock auction we have pies, desserts, even a quilt this year, auctioned off with the animals to raise money for our scholarship fund. Youth that have completed certain criteria are encouraged to apply for a scholarship their senior year. It’s a great way for our 4H club to be able to continue supporting our youth after their time in the ring. Many scholarships have been awarded over the years and this year Reese was one of those recipients. We are so proud of him!

Congratulations on all you have accomplished, and thank you to your buyer Grandma’s Hobby Farm on the purchase of a great hog!

Our fair season is nearing an end…tonight we will have one last gathering and another round of awards to present to our Junior Livestock kids and then we will help them start preparing for next year 💚

Last year our daughter didn’t plan on doing her “13th year”. Being away at college presents many challenges for raising livestock at home. She received some outside encouragement from a family who had supported her in years past and so, she decided to do one more year in the ring as a Junior Livestock member. We are so proud of her!

Thank you to The Rustic Roost , Maci and family, for being such an important part of our 4-H story over the years! 🐷🐑🐮

Your commitment to supporting and encouraging the young leaders in agriculture means so much to our small community!

4-H is about so much more than projects and activities. It’s about building confidence, responsibility, leadership, and a love for agriculture in the communities we call home.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, encouragement, and support you’ve given our daughter, the youth in our 4-H club, and so many other young people along the way. Your investment in the next generation truly makes a difference and we are so grateful for you and your family 🫶

It’s fair season and these kids are ready to sell you their livestock! Please consider joining them at the show Friday, August 14th and/or the auction August 15th. Seeing youth with an interest in farming and agriculture is amazing and they would love to share their experiences with you!

It's been a great garden season for us🌱

Our goal each year is to raise enough of our own food to feed our family all year long. The freezers are stocked with our grass-fed beef and pork and now we're filling the pantry with fresh garden produce to enjoy through every season😋

There is something so fulfilling about sitting down to a meal with your family knowing exactly where it came from 💚

This lifestyle isn't always the easiest, but we love it!

Calving season has finally concluded for us…49 calves this year including one set of twins🐮🐮

We have moved on to hay making which means long days, late nights and some of the best scenery and time to reflect on the life we have created while driving in circles around the field 🚜 What a blessed life we live 🖤
