The Foodie Crew made a
Visit to the HalfTime Hangout Sports Bar off of Club Pond Rd next to the Walmart.
Nestled right in between the Carolina Dentist and the Dollar Tree, this newly and Grandly Opened sports bar is your newest hangout spot! With plentiful parking and handy-accessible access this place could be your new favorite.
We went on a Friday, early evening for a dinner with friends. The staff was more than accommodating and easily made space for us to sit together with no wait.
Our server was friendly and knew the menu. The wait for apps and drinks was normal for things to be made to order and the food was tasty and not totally unreasonably overpriced.
The cocktails that were ordered were tasty and made well.
Pictured below is a sampling of the food we all ordered. Wings, burgers, and both of the chicken sandwiches. There were no complaints from the crew as we sat and talked and watched the Fussball match on tv (some of us are following the World Cup!)
The owner stopped by to check on us and ensure we were doing well and had no problems or complaints. I personally like to see owners and managers present and engaging with the patrons.
Overall the Halftime Hangout Sports Bar is a new and solid place for a burger and to watch the game.
Check them out and see what they have to offer.
I might add, they have special events on certain days. Trivia on Monday nights. Stop in and see for yourself!
