If you only know two things about us let it be this:
1. Cook’s Mill Wh***ey is North Carolina local
2. Middle finger to the big conglomerate brands who bully buy placements and put out mediocre liquid

We’re national award winning. We’re NC local. We give back to historic preservation. We support local artists and farmers. So whyyy are you still picking up that other stuff?

Visit an ABC Store near you or talk to a bartender worth their salt and give us a try.

Making a little history, one track at a time.
Too excited not to leak a little sneak peek of our session with Rissi Palmer.

Rissi Palmer brought it to the studio. A room full of music and good people swapping stories and creating something special. It’s the kind of session you wish you could bottle up.

Citizen Vinyl and Cook's Mill Wh***ey are releasing an album of American classics reimagined by North Carolina artists. Even better, the album benefits Preservation NC.

Golf carts, spray paint, and big ass fans. Twas the night before Scruggs.

We’ve been planning for this weekend for months. Some of our team got on the road at 5am.
We ran through a case of water and proceeded to sweat it all out.
We had some last minute “oh sh*t” moments.

We’ve been working hard in the heat to create something special.
We can’t show you everything just yet, but we’re so excited to hang out with the everyone at Earl Scruggs Music Festival.
Citizen Vinyl will be in the lounge spinning incredible vinyl. Some records are from private collections and others are limited pressings not available digitally.

One day we’ll look back on all the hard work and think “Wasn’t it so awesome when we did that?”

Ready for the weekend!

The hi-fi has arrived. 🎶

We’re all set up!! Over at the Spirits of Bluegrass at Earl Scruggs Music Festival, and this weekend’s listening setup is sounding pretty sweet.

Inside the Cook’s Mill Hi-Fi Lounge, Citizen Vinyl is bringing the high lonesome sound to life through a vintage stereo system featuring a McIntosh amplifier, Thorens turntables, and JBL speakers — with plenty of vinyl ready to spin. 🎵

Between festival sets, come settle in, listen for a while, and enjoy tastings and curated cocktails from Oaklore Distilling Co, Still Austin Wh***ey Co., Defiant Wh**ky - Blue Ridge Distilling, Sugarlands Distilling Co., and Cook's Mill Wh***ey. 🥃

Bluegrass on vinyl + vintage hi-fi + Carolina wh***ey.
We can’t think of a much better combination.

Come find the Cook’s Mill Hi-Fi Lounge inside Spirits of Bluegrass this weekend.

🥃 Must be 21+ to participate.
