In this economy? Yeah.
So we thought long and hard about dropping the price of Cook’s Mill Whiskey.
The NC ABC still gets their cut. Our farmers still need to be paid. Our bottles still need to be made, filled, labeled, shipped and stocked. Our team still has to pay their bills. That stuff didn’t magically get cheaper.

Truth is, the price cut doesn’t do Us many favors.
But that’s not why we did it.

We did it because we want to get premium North Carolina Bourbon into more hands, more homes and more stories.

We want to educate on NC history, heritage and preserve historic sites.

Same bourbon. Same quality. Lower price.

Go support the local bars and restaurants who have us on the shelf. We love those folks.

Pick us up at an ABC store.

Did you know-
Some big whiskey companies use the same low-cost corn for their mash that is also sold as horse feed.

You’re wrong if you think a premium whiskey is going to come from the same corn you toss the livestock.

Cook’s Mill Whiskey sourced our heirloom corn from a vault at NC State.
We trust Carolina farmers who grow exceptional produce.
We’re dedicated from grain to glass to the hills, mills, and fields of North Carolina.

Say it louder.
Ever heard of “illusion of choice?” Roughly 85% of bourbon sold in the US is controlled by six massive corporate conglomerates. When you walk down the bourbon aisle you see labels with rustic “family names” and colorful label and you think you have a variety of options, but the reality is these are all owned by a few monopoly groups.
Cook’s Mill Whiskey is NOT here for that.
We’re here to honor the true heritage of America whiskey. We use North Carolina heirloom grains grown by North Carolina farmers. We partner with preservation groups to help restore the historic mill.
Stop drinking factory juice. Support real history, real independent farmers, and genuine craftsmanship.

The grindstones of Cook’s Mill were turning before the American Revolution.
Built in 1757, the mill stood as a cornerstone of the community and served as a meeting grounds for The Regulator Movement.
The Regulators stood up against corrupt officials and fought for true independence before the rest of the colonies even fired a shot.
Cook’s Mill whiskey is rooted in a 350 year-old distillation tradition that respects the heritage of the land and the rebellious spirit of the people who shaped it.

Cheers to the independent spirit.
Dare to have a vision for something better.
Stay rebellious, stay responsible.
