Join us for a very special wine tasting as we welcome Guillaume Hoog, Export Manager for Jean Marc Brocard in Chablis. We will be sampling the Brocard lineup including Aligote, St. Bris and Chablis including their top Premier Cru.

Guillaume will tell us about the history of the winery, their organic and biodynamic farming practices and how the soil and proximity make each of these wines unique in the Burgundy region.

Our shop dog Spotts is resting after TPLO surgery this week for a torn CCL (ACL). It will be a slow recovery and rehab, but hopefully he can return to work for the holidays. If you have a Lab/Lab mix, we suggest limiting their jumping - and get pet insurance!

Special thanks to the staff at Quartet Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Cary . They were all professional, caring and very attentive.

To celebrate National Red Wine Day, the Seaboard Staff is excited to welcome Steve Morgan from The Sorting Table wine importers for a special red wine tasting. Steve's company seeks out growers in Europe and the USA who are farmers first, and tend their own vineyards using sustainable, organic, or biodynamic practices.

Steve will be pouring a selection of six red wines from France, Spain and the USA, all showing the finest examples of their appellation or region, committed to expressing a true sense of place in every bottle.

Friday August 28th from 6-8pm. $29 includes six wines and a selection of cheese and crackers.
