Can you believe we're already halfway through October? Seems to be going by fast!
In looking ahead to the end of the month, we noticed Halloween falls on our last Saturday of the season. We thought we'd do something new, fun and a bit different! A COSTUME CONTEST
The information is below. Be sure costumes are farm safe. You need to move around safely. We wouldn't want any parts of your costumes getting caught in wheels of wagon rides, the pumpkin express or cow train.

After being gone for the last couple of days, I wanted to share what all I've been doing. Being on the State board of the NC Farm Bureau Women's Leadership program, we travel to other counties and learn about other farm commodity operations.We went to North Hampton County. First we took care of the business of planning the North Carolina Farm Bureau Annual Convention to be held in Charlotte. We toured Gaston Cotton Gin, the Weldon Mills Distillery, and the North Hampton Severn Peanut Processing plant. We then went into the cotton and peanut fields where the farmers where baling and picking. I had the most amazing few days with these wonderful women farmers from all over North Carolina ❤️..Can't wait for the next trip!

Good morning! We will be OPENING AT 9am today. We have some field trips coming in but the general public is also welcomed. If space is available, join Justin in the cow barn for the educational portion about the farm, cows, and other animals on the farm. Enjoy a wagon ride around the back side of the farm and pick or choose a pumpkin from the field trip pumpkin patch.
