A lower quote doesn’t necessarily mean you’re comparing the same level of food, staffing, service, or presentation.
2. Not asking exactly what’s included.
Ask about setup, attendants, breakdown, serving equipment, disposables, travel, rentals, and other potential charges.
3. Waiting too long to book.
Popular dates can fill quickly—especially during wedding and holiday seasons.
4. Thinking only about the menu.
Great food matters, but so do timing, buffet flow, staffing, presentation, and guest experience.
5. Not asking whether they’ve handled an event your size.
Serving 30 guests and serving 300 guests require very different logistics.
