Midtown Farmers' Market A producers-only market held Saturdays, April-November, in the Commons of North Hills.

The Mission of the Midtown Farmers' Market is to create a vibrant, thriving farmers market in the heart of Midtown Raleigh, where the community can buy local, family-farmed foods, grown in a manner that sustains the land and our health. Our market is dedicated to providing the community access to healthful food options, and educational opportunities to learn about sustainable farming methods and food systems.

IRON CHEF COMPETITION DAY 🧑‍🍳🔥

Watch bartaco, Tamasha Modern Indian | MICHELIN Guide, 2025, and Leo’s Italian Social go head to head in competition! 🤜🤛

Here is today’s estimated timeline:
9AM - secrete ingredients announced 🤫
9:30AM - cooking begins 🔪
10:30AM - cooking ends and judges are presented with the dishes 🍽️
10:45AM - People’s Choice tasting begins 🍽️
11:15AM - winners announced 🏆

***If you want to vote in People’s Choice be sure to stop by the MFM information tent in front of Regal to get a wristband!! FIRST COME FIRST SERVE TO THE FIRST 30 PEOPLE STARTING AT 9:30AM!!

Vendor spotlight: ✨ Decaf Tea Company ✨

This week we are so excited to highlight one of our awesome vendors, Decaf Tea Company!

Decaf Tea Company started in 2023 after their founder, Mike, developed a sensitivity to caffeine but still wanted to enjoy a good cup of tea. After realizing just how hard it is to find a flavorful decaffeinated substitute, he decided to take matters into his own hands — and Decaf Tea Co was born!

Based in Raleigh, with their tea produced in Hillsborough, Decaf Tea Co is all about making wonderful tea for all to enjoy — without all the extra caffeine! Their teas are naturally decaffeinated using a CO₂ process that removes 99% of the caffeine while preserving the flavors we love, and they have PLENTY to choose from!

Their inventory includes classics like English Breakfast and Earl Grey, along with Chai Spice, Peach Apricot, Vanilla Black, Jasmine Green, and so many others! There is something for just about every tea lover!

Make sure you stop by their booth this weekend, say howdy, try a sample, and grab yourself some tea to take home! You won’t regret it!

It’s an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day at the Midtown Farmers Market!!!

Come on down and shop local with a spread of amazing vendors, ranging from kids’ clothes and jewelry to hot food, fresh produce, and so much more!

Come see the amazing Kindred Voyages for her cooking demo!! She’ll be whipping up an AMAZING breakfast for you to try, with demos starting at 9:15, 10:15, and a final demo at 11:15! Come see her skills in action and grab yourself a taste!

While you’re at it, men, come on down and visit with our sponsor, Game Day Men’s Health! Stop by their booth to learn more about the services they offer and how they can help you take charge of your health and wellness!

We’re also joined today by local nonprofit Wake Audubon! Stop by their booth to learn more about our local birds, wildlife, and the ways you can help protect and support their habitats right here in our community!

BOOK Harvest Book Drive! 🎃📚

We are SO proud to announce that we are holding a book drive for Book Harvest!!

Here’s what you need to know!

Every market, starting September 26th and ending October 31st, we will have a donation bin located at the market booth for new or lightly used children’s books (ages 0–18)!

At the conclusion of the drive, we will donate ALL of the books we’ve collected to Book Harvest, where they will be distributed to children and families throughout our community—helping kids start libraries of their very own and giving them a launchpad for a lifelong love of reading!

While contributions are ALWAYS appreciated, here are some items we unfortunately cannot accept:
• Books for adults (cookbooks, gardening books, self-help books, novels, etc.)
• Religious books for any age
• Textbooks, atlas books, encyclopedias, or dictionaries
• Activity books, workbooks, or coloring books
• Library discards
• Books used in classroom settings or teaching materials
• Books that are outdated, yellowed, torn, molded, damaged, etc.

If you don’t have any to donate, don’t fret! There are plenty of other ways to contribute to this wonderful nonprofit organization. Book harvest accepts monetary donations through their website to purchase new books or assist with operations! Give them a look-see when you get the chance to learn more!

So check those bookshelves, grab a few books your family is ready to pass along, and bring them with you to the Midtown Farmers Market!

We are so excited to welcome back Morgan, creator of The Vintage Bee! 🐝

“Morgan Beeson is a third generation Raleigh native. She loves living in her hometown with her husband and four kids. This small business took shape 16 years ago after her first son was born.

Being a mom is her first and favorite job, but having a place to create is the outlet she needed. The business has evolved over the last few years, and she now loves creating handmade accessories with a mix of mediums, including acrylic, wood, metal, and resin. Having a home studio is the perfect escape, while still being present for family.

Recently, she has added a portable engraving laser to her set up and loves customizing jewelry on the spot. She has been part of Midtown Farmers for 15 years and truly feels like she has made friends with the entire community. Recognizing customers and becoming friends is her favorite part of the market.”

Morgan will finally be back at the market, this Saturday from 8am to 12pm! Be sure to stop by her table, welcome her back, and show your support! 🫶🏼

We are beyond excited to spotlight a great vendor with sturdy and beautiful crafts!

“I had always been attracted to pottery ever since uncovering an old dusty throwing wheel as a kid. At university, I continued with filling as many electives as I could, with art and pottery. It’s almost as if pottery chose me and I didn’t chose it. So after a business degree and a long stint in the professional world, I returned to the wheel. The shop now stays very busy and I throw my pots in a garage on a small plot of land where I live with a small flock of chickens and my furry friend. In addition to pottery I enjoy homesteading and attending local markets.”

Team Pride Raffle! — Wearing some swag from your favorite football team today? You’re entered into our raffle for a sweet tailgate prize!!

Kids Crafts! — As always, we’ve got plenty for the kiddos to do under our kids craft tent!

Live Music! — Mike Davis will be out here playing for us today from 10–12!

Pilates! — Come get your morning started with a FREE Pilates session from 9–10!

Troop 1465 is also here with an activity of their own! They’ve got seeds for a pollinator garden, so come by, grab some seeds, and learn how YOU can make a difference through their troop!
