In this clip, Dr. Ajamu stresses the important role black churches played in supporting The Wake Consumers Mutual Association Inc.

This black-led co-op in the 1940s and 50s paved the way for our co-op, Fertile Ground Food Co-op.

Dr. Ajamu then encourages black churches to continue supporting co-ops, much like Southeast Raleigh Table does so generously.

We're hosting an Architecture Design Challenge with Andre Johnson Architects. The winners will be recognized at our upcoming Harvest Gala.

In celebration of our upcoming grocery store, we're asking students to design a community-owned grocery store and garden. Judges from Fertile Ground Food Co-op and Andre Johnson Architects (the firm that designed our grocery store) will select the winners

There will be 3 winners from 3 competitions. The first group will consist of grades K - 5, the second grades 6 - 8, and the third grades 9 - 12.
