Arthur Family Rabbitry We started raising and showing rabbits in 2002. This was a 4-H and FFA project that has grown dramatically over the last 23 years.

There are so many different things you can do with rabbits. They don’t only serve as a pet. You can do anything from showing, raising them for meat quality, training them to do jumping races and so much more. You will never get bored with your furry friend! As quoted by my college daughter who bought her 1st rabbit at 5 years old: "When I started this project, I was very young and just learning from others. Now I am the leader, teacher, and mentor. It is hard to explain 12 years of what I have received from raising rabbits. My future will be better because of the friendship's, educational aspects, connections, and people skills developed because of raising rabbits."

Netherland Dwarf Doe up for grabs. She is not a “Show” stopper. However, she has some beautiful potential to either be a pet or throw some pretty colors. Her dad was a Siamese smoke pearl. Mother is a black otter.

-My young broken Blue Mini Lop Buck won Best of Breed today. 
-We had a blue otter Netherland dwarf win best of breed today.
-I took one white New Zealand Buck ( not much competition) in that breed. And to my surprise and excitement; the White New Zealand Doe that won BOB was a rabbit I sold last summer to a family. So I’m looking at that as a win as well. I love seeing Family’s succeed with Rabbits they get from us.

Beautiful Chinchilla Satin Doe. She is a sassy/spunky girl; however, today she earned another day at our barn. We will see what comes next for her. I have not named her, guess she deserves a name after her win today. (Dad's name is Kevin - Mom's name was Karen). Needs something with a "K"?? open for suggestions

Excited to receive this win announcement yesterday! I sold this girl last summer. White New Zealand, BAT4. I’ve been real tickled about how this litter worked out for us. And then I see that she won “Best in Show”. Good job young lady on taking care of your rabbit.
